Crafted through precision processes of vacuum induction melting and vacuum arc re-melting (VIM-VAR), MP35N® is further enhanced by work hardening and aging, achieving impressive hardness levels of 55-60 Rockwell C and extraordinary strength ranging from 260-300KSI.

Thanks to its unparalleled property set, MP35N® finds extensive applications across diverse industries such as oil and gas, aerospace, and medical fields. Its versatility is evident as it maintains integrity at cryogenic temperatures without succumbing to embrittlement, while also retaining its superb characteristics at elevated temperatures up to 600°F. MP35N® is highly suitable for medical implants and dental solutions, including orthodontic and prosthetic devices.

MP35N® is engineered to resist corrosion from most mineral acids, hydrogen sulfide, and seawater environments, demonstrating exceptional resilience against stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement, even at heightened strength levels. NACE MR0175 standards permit a hardness up to 51 HRC for materials that have undergone work strengthening and aging through the specified processes listed in the accompanying table.
