GH4698 is a nickel-chromium based precipitation-hardenable superalloy renowned for its exceptional high-temperature strength, outstanding creep and rupture resistance, coupled with good oxidation and corrosion resistance. GH4698 maintains excellent mechanical properties at temperatures up to approximately 750°C (1380°F), making it particularly critical for demanding rotating and static components in hot sections. GH4698 is extensively used in gas turbine engine components such as turbine disks, blades, shafts, spacers, casings, rings, fasteners, and various high-stress structural parts in both aerospace engines and industrial power generation turbines.
