With ultra-high strength, impressive toughness, exceptional biocompatibility, and outstanding corrosion resistance, this alloy is crafted through advanced techniques like vacuum induction melting and vacuum arc re-melting (VIM-VAR). The alloy achieves extraordinary hardness levels of up to 55-60 Rockwell C and formidable strength ranging from 260-300KSI by undergoing work hardening and aging processes.

Owing to its extraordinary properties, MP35N® finds extensive usage across diverse industries, including oil and gas, aerospace, and medical sectors. It functions flawlessly at cryogenic temperatures without losing ductility and retains its superior properties at temperatures as high as 600°F. Additionally, MP35N® is ideal for various medical implants and orthodontic/prosthetic devices, ensuring reliability and performance.

MP35N® exhibits extraordinary corrosion resistance, adeptly handling most mineral acids, hydrogen sulfide, and seawater environments. It also demonstrates excellent resilience against stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement, even when subjected to high strength levels. The NACE MR0175 standard endorses a hardness of up to 51 HRC for material that has undergone work strengthening and aging by one of the specified processes in the table below.
