This remarkable alloy is renowned for its ultra-high strength, exceptional toughness, superior biocompatibility, and outstanding corrosion resistance. The production process is steeped in precision, utilizing vacuum induction melting and vacuum arc re-melting (VIM-VAR). Further enhanced by work hardening and aging, this alloy achieves an impressive hardness range of 55-60 Rockwell C and astounding strength levels reaching 260-300 KSI.

Thanks to its extraordinary combination of properties, MP35N® is the alloy of choice for a multitude of applications across diverse industries, including oil and gas, aerospace, and medical sectors. Its adaptability shines as it performs without embrittlement at cryogenic temperatures and maintains its integrity at temperatures soaring up to 600°F. Furthermore, its versatility extends to medical applications, making it ideal for medical implants, as well as orthodontic and prosthetic devices.

MP35N® showcases unwavering resistance to corrosion across a spectrum of challenging environments, including mineral acids, hydrogen sulfide, and seawater. It excels in resisting stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement, even under high strength conditions. Adhering to NACE MR0175 standards, the alloy can achieve a hardness of up to 51 HRC, thanks to its work strengthening and aging processes detailed in the table below.
