Crafted through advanced vacuum induction melting and vacuum arc re-melting (VIM-VAR), it undergoes a transformative process of work hardening and aging, achieving impressive hardness levels of 55-60 Rockwell C and extraordinary strength levels reaching 260-300KSI.

Thanks to its remarkable array of properties, MP35N® finds versatile applications across diverse industries such as oil and gas, aerospace, and medical sectors. This exceptional alloy remains effective at cryogenic temperatures without embrittlement and retains its robust properties at temperatures soaring up to 600°F. Moreover, it's a choice material for medical implants, as well as orthodontic and prosthetic devices.

MP35N® exhibits unparalleled resilience against corrosion in challenging environments, including mineral acids, hydrogen sulfide, and seawater. Its exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement is maintained even at high strength levels. According to NACE MR0175 standards, a hardness of up to 51 HRC is permissible for material enhanced through work strengthening and aging via approved processes detailed in the table below.
