Processing Performance:
▪ Hot working:
Optimal forging/rolling at 1080-1120°C, finishing temperature ≥900°C.
▪ Cold working:
Moderate formability; intermediate annealing (1050-1100°C) required for heavy deformation.
▪ Heat treatment:
Requires solution treatment (1080-1120°C, air cool) to optimize properties; no aging necessary.
Welding:
Excellent compatibility with TIG, MIG, and resistance welding.
Post-weld heat treatment generally not required (except for critical applications).
