Undergoing a sophisticated production process involving vacuum induction melting and vacuum arc re-melting (VIM-VAR), the MP35N® is further fortified through work hardening and aging, achieving impressive hardness levels of up to 55-60 Rockwell C and strength levels reaching an astonishing 260-300KSI.

Thanks to the distinctive combination of properties inherent to MP35N®, it serves a multitude of essential applications across various industries, such as oil and gas, aerospace, and medical sectors. This versatile alloy effortlessly operates in cryogenic conditions without succumbing to embrittlement while maintaining its superior properties even at temperatures soaring to 600°F. Ideal for medical implants, as well as orthodontic and prosthetic devices, MP35N is the epitome of performance and reliability.

MP35N® excels in resisting corrosion across most mineral acids, hydrogen sulfide, and challenging seawater environments. It exhibits extraordinary resilience against stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement, even when subjected to high strength levels. According to NACE MR0175, this material is permitted a hardness of up to 51 HRC, provided it has undergone work strengthening and aging through one of the approved processes listed in the accompanying table.
