It is further enhanced through processes of work hardening and aging, achieving impressive hardness levels of up to 55-60 Rockwell C and exceptional strength ranging from 260-300KSI.

Thanks to its extraordinary blend of properties, MP35N® finds a multitude of applications across diverse industries such as oil and gas, aerospace, and medical sectors. This versatile alloy can be reliably utilized at cryogenic temperatures without risk of embrittlement and maintains its exceptional properties even at elevated temperatures up to 600°F. It is highly suitable for crafting medical implants, orthopedic, and prosthetic devices, making it indispensable in the medical field.

MP35N® exhibits exceptional resilience against corrosion from most mineral acids, hydrogen sulfide, and harsh seawater environments. It showcases superb resistance to stress corrosion cracking and hydrogen embrittlement, even at its highest strength levels. According to NACE MR0175 standards, the material is permitted a hardness of up to 51 HRC when work strengthened and aged by approved methods detailed in the following table.
